The Dr. Tom Shannon Promising Scientist Award recognizes an outstanding early-career scientist (within 8 years of completing their PhD) who has begun to establish themselves through impactful research and leadership in the field of movement analysis. The award includes a certificate, an award of 1000 GBP (to be used for scientific purposes), a complimentary one-year ESMAC membership, and a Spotlight webinar hosted by the Early Career Network (ECN) to showcase their research.
Assoc. Prof. Hans Kainz was honored with this award at the ESMAC conference in Oslo last week. He will present an overview of his group’s recent studies and share his research vision at the ECN webinar on Thursday, October 8th, at 12:30.
